My name is Hope Rubin and I am pleased to be joining the team at RSVP filling in for
Anna while she is on maternity leave.
I have over 30 years of experience working in different areas of Women’s Health.
My education to become a PA began at Touro college in NYC where I grew up and
earned my undergraduate and PA degree.
I subsequently received a Masters degree from the University of Nebraska in 2000
enabling me to take a position as an adjunct professor at Samuel Merritt University PA
program teaching classes in Gynecology and precepting students in addition to my
clinical duties.
I believe the reason I chose Women's Health was to fulfill a need to empower women by
educating them and thereby enabling them to make their own best educated decisions
for care. I have the luxury of following my patients through life’s journey from the 1st
time adolescent patient, to the reproductive phase and menopause and beyond! I feel
fortunate have had so many women trust me and allow me to provide their care. I love
working with adolescents and watching them grow into strong women. I also provide
prenatal care and have a special interest in helping women through the transition to
menopause.
My home has been in Walnut Creek since 1985 where I live with my husband Rich and
our 23 year old parrot Samantha and feral cat Frasier.
Some of my passions other then work include hiking the East Bay hills, traveling and
SCUBA diving in sometimes remote areas in the world, and documenting them through
journaling with watercolor and pencil. I will never turn down a good meal!
I consider it a privilege to provide your care and be a part of this team of outstanding providers.
I look forward to meeting each of you!
